Welcome to Munford's Musings, where we share our journey of faith and witness to God's incredible work. As we look back on 2025, we are once again amazed by His glory and the powerful ways He moved in our lives and the lives of those we prayed for. Join us as we recount these miraculous moments and discover the enduring hope that God offers in our broken world.

A testimony to healing: Cilla's miracle
In 2025, we witnessed a profound miracle that continues to humble us. Cilla's tumour, which measured 20.755, significantly reduced to 52. Furthermore, she had 20 spots on her liver, which are now barely visible, down to just two. This dramatic healing is a powerful reminder of God's restorative power and His unwavering love for His children. We stand amazed yet again at His goodness.

We are proud to be involved with Mamre Mission, where we first met Priscilla at a Thanksgiving Community Table last November.
Mamre is actively engaged in several important ministries:
Mobile Food Pantry: Every month, Mamre Missions operates a Mobile Food Pantry that distributes essential food supplies to families in need. This initiative plays a critical role in combating food insecurity within our community.
Student Summer Meal Delivery Program: During the summer months, Mamre Missions ensures students and their families have access to nutritious meals even when school is out. In 2025, they successfully assembled and delivered 1,700 bagged meals to students in the Anderson District 1 schools.
Community Engagement: The organization fosters community involvement by offering various volunteer opportunities. Individuals and families can engage in activities ranging from assembling meals to distributing food, helping to cultivate a spirit of connection and compassion within the community.
Find hope in a broken world
Our experiences in 2025 continually reinforce that God is alive and active. We believe these reflections from Munford's Musings will encourage both believers and those seeking answers in these dark days. There is immense hope available, and it is through God that true healing and restoration are found. We invite you to explore more of our journey and discover the transformative power of faith.

Prayer at the Y
As members of the YMCA gym, we thoroughly enjoy staying active in a welcoming and friendly community. Over time, we've had the opportunity to pray for many individuals through engaging conversations that often arise in this vibrant setting.
A year ago, I felt a prompting from God to inquire about a space where I could invite others for prayer. Without hesitation, the manager enthusiastically offered me any available room, expressing her delight at the idea of supporting this initiative.
With a banner crafted to promote the prayer space, I've had the privilege of connecting with countless people, providing support and encouragement through prayer. Many express their gratitude for my presence, and it brings me joy to see how this effort helps foster new friendships.
Ultimately, this experience not only allows me to meet new faces but also witnesses the transformative power of prayer and uplifting conversation in their lives.
Chris's friend Jeff recently received some concerning news: his blood tests revealed a dangerously high bilirubin level of 8, which could lead to serious liver complications. Additionally, he had lumps on his liver. During one of their regular coffee catch-ups, Jeff shared that he had to rush off to a doctor's appointment. Before he left, Chris prayed fervently, declaring that Jeff would be healed in Jesus' name. A few days later, Jeff gave Chris a call with incredible news—the doctor confirmed that his liver was fine and his bilirubin levels had dropped dramatically to 1. Praise Jesus for this miraculous healing! Today, on March 9th, 2026, Jeff reached out again to share that, one year later, his test results continue to be perfect.
Chris continues to consult with pastors on the topic of healing, a concept that may surprise some, despite the Bible's clear teachings about Jesus healing hundreds of individuals throughout the Gospels. We are called to carry on this healing ministry, yet many churches hold cessationist views and do not embrace it.
We are grateful for the churches we partner with, as they are now showing curiosity and actively seeking guidance on healing and effective prayer.
